The Dress Shop Returns to Cherry Tree Lane at Walt Disney World’s Marketplace Co-Op

According to Disney Parks Blog, The Dress Shop, which is an amazing dress and accessories type of shop that was created specifically for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, has now returned Cherry Tree Lane.  Cherry Tree Lane is located within the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs.  The Dress Shop is a themed shop within a shop that specializes in Disney-themed apparel that you can’t get anywhere else.  The shop made its return on July 27th at Disney Springs and has been open for guests ever since.

This is what David Solimon, the area manager for merchandise presentation at Disney Springs had to say about the shop and merchandise:  “Since the collection gives a nod to mid-century style, we wanted to create a space that would feel sophisticated and unique while complementing the overall story of the Marketplace Co-Op,” explained David. “The dresses and accessories are colorful and beautiful, so we found many ways to prominently showcase them throughout the shop. The best example is the hatbox-inspired platform that greets guests at the entrance. It’s a striking visual that pulls people into the location.”

With the return of The Dress Shop, there is also a return of the ten original dresses that were created based on inspiration from popular attractions around Walt Disney World.  There will also be a new Cinderella-inspired dress released to the collection.  All will be available for purchase at the shop.  Here is a picture of the new dress below:

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
