There are numerous restaurant locations that are set to close at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in Walt Disney World. The restaurants include The Old Port Royal Food Court, Calypso Trading Post, Banana Cabana Pool Bar and Shutters (the table-service location at the resort). These locations will officially close on May 1st. This is due to the new development and construction that is slated at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

If you will be staying at the resort, Centertown will be serving breakfast and lunch daily for guests. There will also be quick items available at the individual markets that are located in Aruba, Martinique and Jamaica. This will be the dining solution at the resort until the new construction is complete at the resort. The development is expected to be complete by the end of 2017.
Disney is sending out letters to guests with upcoming stays at the resorts to inform them of the changes at the resort during their stay. If guests have an issue with these changes, Disney is working with them to relocate them to a different moderate resort for their stay.
We have no doubt that all of these changes will be amazing, and we can’t wait to see it all finished.
