While the list of restaurants still closed throughout Walt Disney World’s phased reopening is beginning to dwindle, we have seen a few of our favorites remain closed. One of our go to quick-service spots around EPCOT’s World Showcase is Tangierine Café located in the Morocco Pavilion. The good news is that Tangierine Café will reopen… but as a Festival Global Marketplace.

Walt Disney World’s website now shows Tangierine Café on the Global Marketplace list for the upcoming EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival which begins July 15. Now listed as the “Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina”, guests will be able to “Treat your senses to traditional Moroccan cuisine, like grilled kebabs and a falafel pita”.

Regardless of how the Tangierine Café comes back – be it quick-service restaurant or a global marketplace – we’re just happy to see some of that tasty Moroccan cuisine return for on the go meals at EPCOT!
