The long-awaited walking path between Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Magic Kingdom is open! If you’re interested in taking the scenic stroll from Grand Floridian, the Polynesian Village Resort, or the Transportation Ticket Center, @bioreconstruct has broken down the walk times.

“A map of approximate walking times between Magic Kingdom security and Grand Floridian, and Polynesian. Average Guest likely an hour between MK and the TTC overpass due to stops to shop, photos, watch the monorail, and enjoy the hotel theming.
According to the image, starting at the Magic Kingdom bag check location – it takes 12 minutes for a Guest to reach Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort from Magic Kingdom. To reach Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort lobby from Magic Kingdom, it is 14 minutes.
To reach the further end of the Grand Floridian from Magic Kingdom, you’re looking at 16 minute. If you’re walking to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort from Magic Kingdom, you can expect a 25 minute walk.
From Magic Kingdom to the Transportation Ticket Center, you an expect 32 minutes.
@bioreconstruct is very clear however in the notes that it will take the average Guest longer than these estimated walking times as Guests tend to get distracted or may not know the most direct paths through/around Disney’s Grand Floridian or Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
