If you love Disney churros and Christmas flavors, you’ll want to read this article about all the new churros available at the Disneyland Resort this holiday season!
Besides DOLE Whips, Pretzels, and Mickey Premium Bars, one of the most popular snacks associated with Disney Parks is the classic churro. Churros were first introduced to Disneyland in the 1980s by Jim Lowman under then-CEO Michael Eisner in a move to have fun and appealing elements aimed at young adult Guests.
The churros were a hit, cementing their status as an icon at both Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to this very day. And Disney has decided to improve upon the original with these limited-time Christmas churros to make the 2022 yuletide gay!
Here’s a breakdown of each one, and where to find them:
First up is the Bride Churro at the Churro Cart in Critter Country: Similar to a wedding cookie, it’s covered in vanilla sugar and looks like it’s received a light dusting of snow! And for fans of “it’s a small world” Holiday, the Holiday Churro at the cart nearby comes with apple spice dipping sauce. Yum!

Continuing in Fantasyland, the Churro Cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle offers an all-new Candy Cane Churro with a delicious peppermint bark-inspired chocolate dipping sauce, and it’s worth noting there’s a similar Peppermint Churro with a chocolate and vanilla drizzle topped with candy canes over at Disney California Adventure’s Grizzly Peak.
Next, New Orleans Square’s Churro Cart has a cinnamon churro with pistachio and sour cherry flavored sugar and an intriguing ghost pepper grape dipping sauce. If a little Cajun kick isn’t your thing, you might want to try the similar Chocolate Cherry-Pistachio Churro with a cookie crumb coating over at DCA’s Hollywood Land.

Rounding off Disneyland, the Churro Cart in Town Square will be serving a delightful Mint Chip Churro and mint-chocolate dipping sauce that includes crushed cookies and marshmallow creme, which sounds amazing.
After that, head on over to Disney California Adventure Park to try the Pumpkin Pie Churro at the Carsland Cozy Cone, or the Caramel Apple Churro on Buena Vista Street for lovers of warm and cozy spice!
Speaking of spice, the Hollywood Lounge is offering an Everything Spice horchata beverage for the bold featuring RumChata, spiced rum, and butterscotch liqueur. The whole thing gets topped with MINI CHURROS and a dusting of cinnamon! In addition, there’s a non-alcoholic version, the Churro Delight, if boozy pastry isn’t for you, and the regular Abuelita Hot Chocolate Churro with condensed milk dipping sauce at the cart by Goofy’s Sky School as well.
Lastly, if you aren’t planning a visit to the Disney Parks this holiday season, you don’t have to miss out on the Christmas churro fun! California Churro at the Downtown Disney District also has a brand new Gingerbread Churro, which comes with a topping of red and green M&Ms and a white chocolate drizzle. How jolly!
