Facial Recognition Testing Continues at Magic Kingdom

If you’ve visited Walt Disney World recently, you may have seen facial recognition testing taking place at Magic Kingdom for park entry. This optional testing was to take place between March 23 and April 23. Disney asked that if guests would like, they could help test out this new form of technology at the park entrance. It looks like now this testing will continue on past April 23.

As updated on the Walt Disney World website, the April 23 ending date has been removed. We aren’t sure if/when Disney will stop facial recognition testing. Our thoughts are the system must be working well if they have yet to pull it.

We personally experienced the Facial Recognition Testing and found the experience to be extremely simply and an easy way to enter the park. On the other hand, we have heard from some Disney fans that they want nothing to do with it. It is currently an optional way to enter the park.
