First Look at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Ride Vehicles at Walt Disney World

At the D23 Expo 2019, it was shared that the new, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot within Walt Disney World would be a family-friendly coaster that would tell a story. The new ride system will have vehicles that will rotate 360 degrees and can do a reverse launch! Thanks to Disney Parks Blog, we have a first look at these impressive ride vehicles! Walt Disney Imagineering provided this video. Each cab within the attraction’s OmniCoaster ride system will direct you to where the story is happening and immerse guests in the overall story for the attraction.

Per Disney Parks Blog, “at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind the adventure will start in the Galaxarium, a planetarium-like exhibition that explores the similarities and mysteries of the formation of Earth’s galaxy and Xandar. You’ll be invited to learn more about Xandar’s treasures – until the moment when the Guardians of the Galaxy arrive, and adventures across the cosmos ensue.”

Currently, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is set to open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021. Of course, we will keep you updated on anything else that we learn about this amazing new attraction.
