In this new attraction, set to launch on January 11, 2017 at Hong Kong Disneyland, you get to experience flying with Iron Man over areas of Hong Kong. The attraction is the first Marvel-themed attraction for any of the Disney parks, so this is a huge deal for the brand. The attraction has been in design and development for longer than 3 years. It will include several components to create the ultimate immersive experience, including 3-D images and projections, surround sound, flight simulation, detailed effects and so much more.

The attraction will be set in Tomorrowland at the park and will contained within an area where Tony Stark is holding the Stark Expo to show of new technology and gadgets that have been created. The Expo will have different halls: The Hall of Legacy, the Hall of Energy, the Hall of Mobility and the Hall of Protection. In the Iron Man Experience attraction, guests will get to take off in an Iron Wing and explore areas of Hong Kong including iconic locations and mountain ranges in the area. The attraction will be in 3D so guests will wear their StarkVission glasses. The effects for the attraction promise to make the experience so immersive and realistic and unlike any other attraction to date.
There are also plans to create other experiences, dining, shopping and more at the park that are themed for Iron Man. The Expo Shop at the location is already open and selling merchandise to guests that visit. At this location is a game for guests to try on the Iron Man suit including a video of the transformation. There are themed Iron Man food and snacks across the resort and theme park area. Iron Man will be appearing for the first time to meet and greet with guests who visit the Stark Expo. Plus, there are also more attractions in the work. This is proving to be another perfectly themed area created by Disney with immersive experiences that are unlike anything you could experience anywhere else.
AIA has been announced as the sponsor for the attraction. We expect to see elements of the attraction that promote AIA and the strategic partnership that they have made with Hong Kong Disneyland in order to bring this experience to life for guests to enjoy. We can’t wait to see what more is in store!
