Former Patient, Now Disney Imagineer, Helps Install Artwork at Children’s Hospital

Excuse us while we fill your screen with a dose of goodness! Walt Disney Imagineering has been hard at work transforming your everyday standard hospital walls with something that can brighten the day for many children and their families. Check out the sweet video below of the installation of artwork at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and the special connection a Disney Imagineer has to the project.

As shared by Disney: “Katie Barnes, a senior set decorator at Walt Disney Imagineering, jumped at the chance to work on art direction and installation of interactive Disney artwork designed to ease the stress for children and families at children’s hospitals around the country. When she found out her first project would be at CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) — the hospital where she spent much of her own childhood — she knew it was meant to be. See some of the Disney artwork installations at CHOC in action.”
