Gideon’s Bakehouse Shares Gratitude After Grand Opening

Last weekend, on January 16, Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs held their official Grand Opening. By 10:30am the queue was closed with a 9 hour virtual queue wait… just 30 minutes after they opened their doors! Yes, that’s how impressive their cookies are! Well, Gideon’s Bakehouse took to social media to share their gratitude.

“GRATITUDE POST! Our Grand Opening at @disneysprings was beyond imagination. Thanks to everyone that came out to support local business on the big stage. My greatest hope is that our success opens doors for more single owner small business like myself. The creativity and emotion in Central Florida’s food scene is extraordinary. Yes, the crowd was huge, and the wait was long. Still, you all know how to rock that virtual queue, enjoying the Festival of the Arts at Epcot while you wait, having dinner at your favorite Disney Springs spot, or going home to enjoy a relaxing day, and coming back just in time for Hot Cookie Hour! We hope you felt all the collectible gifts and extra Cookie flavors were worth it! Talking to you all was a great treat for me and so surreal since it still feels like yesterday that I was making these Cookies alone in my tiny home kitchen. It’s been a fantastic journey made possible by the support of this passionate and caring community. ⁣⁣Bonus thanks to my entire staff. Gideon’s desserts are handmade 100% from scratch and not very easy. From our lovely bakers and production crew to our welcoming front of house to our detail-obsessed leadership, you are all dedicated, and I’m so proud of all of you. Without you, there is nothing. Finally, Michael Reyes (@mreyes.art), signing and numbering 1000 prints in an afternoon might have done permanent damage to your body, and I’m sorry (not sorry). ⁣⁣My undying love to you all!
