Grand Floridian Convention Center Refurbishment Scheduled at Walt Disney World

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also home to a convention center, wedding pavilion and much more.  The convention center will undergo a refurbishment from December 12th through January 1st.  The convention center, the adjacent parking lot and the wedding pavilion area will be inaccessible to guests during this time due to safety concerns and to move equipment and supplies for the project.  The work will occur during the day, so it is possible that guests will see crews working and be exposed to noise from the work.

While the work is going on, the convention services office will still remain open. The business center will be relocated to a temporary location in the main building of the resort, at the old concierge desk with the following hours:

• Monday-Friday: 7AM to 4PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 8AM to 1PM

24-hour computer access will be available for guests in the main building.  It will be located on the 2nd floor close to the DVC information area.  There is also complimentary wireless access available in every guest room at the resort if you brought your own computer or device.
