Height Requirements Announced for Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World

We recently announced that Toy Story Land would be opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World on June 30th, 2018.  The opening of the new, immersive land also means the opening of 2 new themed attractions.  Walt Disney World has now confirmed the height requirements for the attractions so that guests know what to expect when they visit.  We have all of the details for you.

Here are the guest height requirements that have been announced for each of the attractions:

  • Alien Swirling Saucers:  Must be at least 32″ tall to ride
  • Slinky Dog Coaster:  Must be at least 38″ tall to ride
  • Toy Story Mania:  No height restriction (as before)

The Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster will be a family-friendly coaster based on the concept that Andy built the coaster from a toy kit and then added Slinky Dog to the coaster.  The coils will expand and come together, making it an extremely unique coaster experience.  The Alien Swirling Saucers attraction is based on the concept that the attraction was created from a play set that Andy got from Pizza Planet.  Guests are trying to avoid being caught by “the claw” during the attraction.  Both look to be amazing attractions that are perfectly themed for the entire land.
