Hours Changing for Walt Disney World’s Winter Summerland

There are so many experiences and events that you can enjoy at Walt Disney World that are outside of going to the theme parks.  Winter Summerland Miniature Golf is a holiday themed miniature golf course located close to Blizzard Beach Water Park.  There are 2 different courses, one with snowy holiday decorations and the other where the holidays take over the beach.  We have learned that Winter Summerland will start closing at 10 PM each evening instead of the previous time of 11 PM.  We have heard that this is due to the fact that there haven’t been enough guests visiting that late to justify keeping the location open that long.  We aren’t sure at this time if this schedule change will be permanent or only temporary until the spring and summer months start.

So far we haven’t heard that there will be any changes in the hours of operation at Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf located close to Disney’s Boardwalk.  It is possible that those hours could be shifting in the near future, too.

As always, we will keep you posted as we learn more.  If you haven’t been to the miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World, then you definitely need to check them out during an upcoming trip.  There are even discounts offered for DVC Members, Annual Passholder, etc.  It is a fun activity that the whole family can enjoy while still getting a little bit of the Disney magic.
