
Of the four theme parks in Walt Disney World, Epcot is truly the most unique in that it combines two completely different sections to form one unified park. Future World celebrates technology and the beauty of nature to show guests how the world is constantly evolving and World Showcase focuses on eleven different countries and the unity of a global community. Guests can do everything from dive into the ocean, design their own car, and travel the world all in one day at Epcot. 15. Spaceship Earth
This iconic Epcot attraction is the first thing that guests see as soon as they enter into the park’s parking lot. Spaceship Earth takes guests on a journey from the beginning of time to present day and shows how technology and communication have evolved. Guests pass through memorable scenes including Rome burning and the Renaissance before a dramatic reveal of planet Earth.
14. Soarin’
Located on the lower level of The Land Pavilion, Soarin’ takes guests high in the sky for a hang gliding adventure over sights around the world. Guests truly feel as though they are flying as they pass over the Matterhorn, the Great Wall of China, Iguazu Falls, and Epcot. Since Soarin’ is one of the most popular attractions in Epcot, guests should either experience it first thing in the morning when there is generally a low wait time or book FastPasses.
13. Living with the Land
Located across from Soarin’ this serene boat ride takes guests through several different environmental areas and shows them how nature prevails in all types of weather. Guests then get a scenic tour of massive greenhouses where food is constantly being grown and served in restaurants throughout Walt Disney World.
12. The Seas with Nemo and Friends
This attraction retells the story of Pixar’s Finding Nemo complete with favorite characters like Nemo, Marlin, and Dory. Guests are treated to a ride on the Eastern Australian Current with Crush and a grand finale where all of the characters are singing “Big Blue World” while appearing to float with the real fish and marine life swimming behind them.
11. Turtle Talk with Crush
Located in The Seas with Nemo and Friends this interactive show stars the loveable and righteous Crush from Pixar’s Finding Nemo. Crush enters into his tank in the theater and interacts with audience members in live time. Featuring some hilarious moments and tons of great interactions, guests should definitely not miss Turtle Talk with Crush!
10. Journey Into Imagination with Figment
This whimsical attraction takes guests into the Imagination Institute where they are treated to a tour of the sensory labs with Dr. Nigel Channing. Figment the loveable purple dragon soon appears and shows guests how imagination can make the world an interesting and fun place.

9. Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival
Located next to the Imagination Pavilion, guests will find the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival. This is an especially great spot to stop and take a breather on a hot day with lots of walking. Be seated in a theater that offers a 4D experience of three fantastic Disney-Pixar short films. In total, plan to spend 18-minutes enjoying this attraction. While this the Short Film Festival does offer a FastPass, it’s rarely crowded so you may want to use your FastPass on something else.
8. Test Track Presented By Chevrolet
Test Track takes guests into the world of design and allows them to create their own “SIM” cars which are then tested on the track in Efficiency, Power, Responsiveness, and Capability. The most thrilling portion of the attraction is a joy ride around an outdoor loop at high speeds. Since the attraction is one of the most popular in Epcot, it tends to easily have wait times over an hour. Guests looking to save time can either book a FastPass for the attraction or take advantage of the single rider line. Guests who don’t mind splitting up their party can have the same experience with a much shorter wait time by opting for the single rider line.
7. Mission: SPACE
Mission: SPACE allows guest to enter the International Space Training Center (ISTC) where they soon find themselves training like real astronauts for a mission to space. Each guest is assigned a role once aboard their spaceship and soon are off an exciting trip with a few surprises along the way! Since the attraction can be rather intense, guests can choose from two different experiences. Guests who are looking to experience Mission:SPACE with full intensity can opt for the Orange Team (Mission to Mars) whereas guests who are looking for a tamer simulated version of the ride can choose the Green Team (Orbiting Earth).
6. Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
Nestled in the back of the Mexico Pavilion is this boat ride which offers guests a scenic tour of Mexico with Panchito and Jose as they search for Donald. After finally locating him, guests are treated to a concert by the Three Caballeros in Mexico City complete with fireworks.
5. Frozen Ever After
Do your best to snag a FastPass for Frozen Ever After 60 days in advance for Disney Resort guests or 30 days in advance for non-resort guests. This attraction is located in the Norway Pavilion and boasts extremely long wait times in the stand-by line. Save the time… FastPass this one! Frozen Ever After is a family-friendly boat ride that took the place of the former Maelstrom and follows a similar track, winding through multiple experiences up and down the river. It’s a fun attraction with beautiful surroundings, top notch animatronics, and of course… the forever popular Frozen characters and songs to sing along with!
4. Reflections of China
This stunning Circle-Vision film is hosted by Li Bai, a poet from the Tang Dynasty, and takes guests on a tour of both ancient and modern China. Guests are treated to gorgeous views of the Yangtze River, Gobi Desert, Forbidden City, and Shanghai. With such wonderful sights and a glimpse into the beautiful culture of China, guests should definitely not miss a showing of Reflections of China.
3. American Adventure
This epic stage show combines memorable figures from American history and massive props to tell the story of the American people. Hosted by Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain, the American Adventure spans from the Revolutionary War to present day and ends with a beautiful performance of “Golden Dream” as a new day dawns on America.
2. O Canada!
This Circle-Vision film in the rear of the Canada Pavilion is hosted by Martin Short. Guests are treated to comical anecdotes by Short as they observe the beautiful landscapes of Canada including Niagara Falls and Quebec City. Along the way other familiar famous Canadian faces appear, making it an entertaining showcase of the country that guests should definitely see.
1. Epcot Forever
No day in Epcot is complete without watching the nighttime spectacular. Occurring nightly on World Showcase Lagoon, guests gather around to watch a combination of dancing water, lasers, pyrotechnics, fireworks, and a beautiful score. There are plenty of great viewing spots all around World Showcase, but since the show is so popular guests should plan on picking out a spot up to an hour before show time to guarantee a great view. Watching Epcot Forever is the perfect ending to a day in Epcot!
