10. Which resorts connect to the Disney Skyliner?
The Disney Skyliner, a state-of-the-art gondola system, connects a variety of the Disney World resorts to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The system connects Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort. This is a huge perk when staying at any of these resorts.
9. What are the different categories of resorts?
There are value, moderate, deluxe and deluxe villas. The value resorts are typically the lowest in cost and will offer the least amount of extra amenities. The moderate is the next level up and will cost slightly more and offer a few more amenities. The deluxe resorts are among the most expensive resort and will also offer the most amenities. The deluxe villas are typically located with the deluxe resorts and feature suites for guests that have larger parties or need kitchen and/or laundry facilities available to them in their rooms.
8. Are the Disney Springs hotels also considered Walt Disney World Resorts?
There are a variety of Disney Springs area hotels that aren’t owned by Disney. These resort guests receive some perks, but not the same as all of the guests at Walt Disney World Resorts. These resorts aren’t considered the same as the Walt Disney World resorts, but are still located on Disney property. They are typically more affordable that some of the actual Disney resorts, so they can be great options for some families.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, you will be able to travel to and from the airport via Disney’s Magical Express. The service is included in all resort reservations for the entire party listed on the reservation. They even handle getting your checked bags at the airport delivered to your room and you can even check your luggage at some of the resorts so that you don’t have to worry about checking it once you get to the airport.
6. Which resorts are accessible via the monorail?
The monorail resorts are extremely popular and offer some of the most luxurious stays at Walt Disney World. There is free transportation to and from the theme parks and other areas around Walt Disney World for all resort guests that is either bus, boat, monorail, and/or Skyliner. Resort guests also get to book their dining and FastPass+ reservations ahead of non-resort guests. One of my favorite perks is the Extra Magic Hours offering which allows resort guests extra time in the theme parks before or after park opening in a select park on select days.
4. Can anyone dine at resort restaurant locations?
Anyone can visit the resorts and dine at the dining locations. The table service dining locations are eligible for advanced dining reservations and anyone can make those if they are available. This can be a great option for guests who visit Disney locations frequently and prefer to stay in deluxe accommodations.
