Memorial Weekend marks the beginning of Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World, and we can’t wait! There are fun events coming to each of the four theme parks on property for guests to experience something new and fun while at Walt Disney World. We have all of the details on what guests can expect below. Check this out and then start planning your summer Disney vacation.
Incredible Tomorrowland Expo – Magic Kingdom: Starting on May 25th, the super heroes from The Incredibles will take over Tomorrowland. Edna Mode is making her first in-person debut in the parks and will be alongside Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Frozone and other characters from the films. They will have an interactive dance party known as “Super Party Time” where guests can join in on all of the fun.
Donald’s Dino-Bash! – Disney’s Animal Kingdom: This prehistoric party will feature Donald Duck and his friends like Daisy Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack, Chip and Dale and more. There will be a DJ playing wild music for guests to dance and party with this fun crew of characters.
The Guardians of the Galaxy – Epcot: Star-Lord and Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies will be joining an alien band to party to many of the feature hits from Awesome Mixtapes 1 and 2. This will definitely get us all extremely excited for the new Guardians of the Galaxy themed attraction that is slated to come to Epcot!
Disney H2O Glow Nights – Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park: This event will be held on select nights starting on June 21st. The party will have characters like Buzz, Woody and Jessie to enjoy a fun glow party with games, dancing and water fun. The event will be offered on Thursdays and Saturdays from June 21st through August 11th, from 8 PM to 11 PM. This is a separate ticketed event and not included in the daytime admission rate. Tickets are already on sale for $55 per adult and $50 per child (ages 3 to 9), plus any applicable taxes.
Toy Story Land – Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Unfortunately this new, themed land isn’t opening for Memorial Weekend, but it won’t be much longer now. It is set to finally open on June 30th. The land is 11 acres and will feature 2 new attractions, Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers. There will also be a new quick service dining location, Woody’s Lunch Box. We can’t wait for it to finally open!
