Disneyland Resort cast members recently rescued guests trapped on The Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure Park. One of the guests on board shared a video of their experience and thanked the “rescue team” for their help.
The Incredicoaster
The Incredicoaster, formerly known as California Screamin’, is exclusive to Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park. This wooden rollercoaster is a quintessential part of the Disney park’s skyline and remains one of Disneyland Resort’s most popular attractions.
“Join the Incredibles in a mad dash to catch Jack-Jack as he wreaks havoc throughout this high-speed chase!” the official Disneyland Resort ride description reads. “Baby Jack-Jack’s superpowers are causing chaos as he teleports from tunnel to tunnel, and The Incredibles sprint into action to save the day. Buckle up for an exhilarating ride around Pixar Pier!”
“Located in Pixar Pier’s Incredibles’ Park neighborhood, the Incredicoaster boasts enclosed tunnels, special effects, scenes and a musical score by Incredibles 2 composer Michael Giacchino for even more super-fied fun!”
Please note that The Incredicoaster is currently closed for refurbishment. The ride is scheduled to reopen on December 1, but that date is subject to change.

Disneyland Resort guest Rafael Pinedo (@619.say.rafa on TikTok) shared this video after evacuating from The Incredicoaster. After unlocking the ride restraints, Disney cast members carefully guided guests down a steep staircase.
@619.say.rafa This doesn’t happen to everyone every day! We have to be special, VIP, have the American Express Black Card, have clout; you know, tell ’em at door, “Don’t you know who I am?” kind of clout. (Getting rescued off the Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, CA.) Yeah, we did that! 😆 #Incredicoaster #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure
“Getting rescued at California Adventure,” the guest said. “The rollercoaster broke, so the rescue team came to rescue us. That’s a first for me… This is one way to get down.”
The Incredicoaster evacuation was carried out safely, and it doesn’t appear that the active refurbishment had anything to do with this breakdown. After making it off the attraction, the guest joked about his experience.
“This doesn’t happen to everyone every day!” he wrote. “We have to be special, VIP, have the American Express Black Card, have clout; you know, tell ’em at door, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ kind of clout. (Getting rescued off the Incredicoaster at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, CA.) Yeah, we did that!”
Follow all Disney cast member instructions if you ever get stuck on a ride at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, or an international Disney theme park. Never interfere with safety restraints and only exit attraction vehicles when explicitly instructed. Disney Parks have strict processes in place to keep guests safe.
Have you ever evacuated a Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park ride?
