If you will be in the Walt Disney World area this Labor Day weekend, then you may want to check out a new event coming to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. This event is known as the Labor Day Fan Zone. It is set to take place September 1st through 2nd, and will run from 7:30 AM through 6:30 PM on both days. It will be held inside the Visa Athletic Center at the complex. This fan festival will be a high energy event that features a DJ, food and beverage items, special merchandise, vendor booths, character meet and greets and showings of different sporting events.

The Labor Day Fan Zone will be a great way for guests to have fun in between other events that are going on at the complex. The event is included in the admission price to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The daily admission is $18.50 per adult (10+) and $13.50 per child (ages 3 to 9).
Here is a look at some of the sporting events that will be going on at the complex that weekend:
- There will be more than 260 athletes from 43 teams playing in the Disney Labor Day Baseball Classic from August 31st through September 3rd.
- There will be almost 4,400 boys’ and girls’ soccer players from 270 teams playing in the Disney Soccer Showcase Qualifier from September 1st through 3rd. Champions from each division of this qualifier will receive automation selection into the Disney Girls’ Soccer Showcase (scheduled for November 22nd through 25th) and the Disney Boys’ Soccer Showcase (scheduled for December 27th through 31st).
