Learn More About Disney’s Pop Century

When deciding where to stay on your Walt Disney World vacation, it can be a little overwhelming. There are so many beautiful Walt Disney World Resorts sometimes it can be hard to decide. Maybe you should consider staying at Disney’s Pop Century. Lisa Mendillo shared with Disney Parks Blog more about this Resort:

This week in our planDisney Pocket Guide series, we are going to POP on over to Disney’s Pop Century Resort, a resort that will have you feeling groovy about your resort room, pool, and oh yeah, cheesecake!

Take a walk down memory lane or have fun with mom and dad as they recall the phrases they said and the clothes they wore. If you are lucky they might even bust out their best dance moves. No doubt this resort that highlights the fads of the 1950s through the 1990s could be the very place one might feel like dancing to their room!

Located near Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this resort offers transportation to theme parks via Disney Skyliner and Walt Disney World Bus Service.

We said these resort rooms would have you feeling groovy, and we were not joking! Disney-themed rooms with a bit of a retro feel make this the perfect resort for guests of all ages. King bed and queen bed rooms are available at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and pull-down beds and views of Hippy Dippy Pool make this a great resort for parties up to four.

Guests will also enjoy great food at Everything POP Shopping and Dining. This quick service, color-filled location offers guests an out-of-this-world selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Mobile Ordering is also available at this dining location.

planDisney Tip: Be sure and try the Tie-Dye Cheesecake. It is definitely to Tie-Dye for!

This resort has three super-fun pools. The feature pool, Hippy Dippy Pool, is a must-do on a resort day. Flower-shaped water jets, a kiddie pool, and Movies Under the Stars can all be found at this cool pool. Love a good game of bowling? Check out the Bowling Pool! And fans of all things electronic, be sure to plan for some down time at the Computer Pool.

planDisney Tip: Don’t miss the trivia signs located throughout the resort. You might be surprised at how much you know!

planDisney panelists agree that the larger-than-life nod to pop culture and updated Disney-themed rooms make a stay at this resort a truly unforgettable one. Plus, it offers plenty of opportunities for some fun photos!
