Disney Parks Blog announced that Walt Disney World will offer special photo opportunities exclusively at Epcot in honor of the Lunar New Year. These photo opportunities will be brought to guests by Disney PhotoPass Service and will be found in the China Pavilion within the World Showcase at Epcot. The photos will be available on February 16th at the pavilion so you can celebrate and commemorate the new year. Select photos that are taken at the pavilion will receive a special border for the start of the Year of the Dog. There will also be a PhotoPass photographer with props and photo extras at the pavilion from noon through 9 PM. Mushu from Milan may even make an appearance in some of your photos.

If you visit the pavilion between 7 PM to 9 PM, you will be able to take pictures with the beautiful glowing lotus.
You can also take pictures with Mulan at the pavilion with a PhotoPass photographer on standby to capture the moment so that you can view the photo from your My Disney Experience account.
The new year will be the Year of the Dog, and we hope that everyone experience prosperity and good fortune throughout the year.
