After February 17th, the cabana rentals in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom will no longer be available to rent. It appears that the popularity wasn’t there to maintain this service. The cost started at $649 a day for the rental, which is in addition to the cost of theme park admission. Disney dropped the price to $500, but that still doesn’t seem to be enough. The cost included beverages, snacks, reserved viewing for the parade and Wishes, storage lockers, insect repellent, charging stations, shaded seating, etc. This wasn’t enough for many guests to justify the costs.

This initial offering was only a “testing” phase, but due to the price drops and the announcement that the service will be discontinued, we assume that it may be gone for good. It is possible that Disney will look for a different solution than the white tents and look at adding even more attractive perks that would help encourage the guests to spend the money on the add-on.
