We have seen cabana rentals available at resorts and water parks, but this is a first for the theme parks. Disney is testing cabana rentals in the Magic Kingdom. The cabanas are located in Tomorrowland, close to Space Mountain. The cabana holds up to 8 people and includes covered seating that is shaded, drinks, snacks and reserved viewing locations for parades and fireworks. You get all of this for a cost of $649 for the entire day. The cabanas will be tent-like structures and not permanent structures in the area. They will be open on the sides,so it won’t provide full protection from all weather or heat. It will be interesting to see if this offering is popular at the Magic Kingdom and if guests find value in having a place to call “home base” for the day.
