Marvel’s ‘Black Widow’ Debut Gets Pushed Back to May 2021

The much anticipated Marvel film, “Black Widow”, has been admidst the rumor mill lately as to when/if the movie would hit theaters or potentially head straight to Disney+. We are learning today, it has been confirmed that Marvel’s “Black Widow” will now release in theaters May 2021.

As shared by ComicBook.com: Marvel’s Black Widow will now release on May 7, 2021. The film has been subjected to several delays due to the coronavirus pandemic which left theaters having their doors closed for much of 2020, reopening in most of the country recently to lackluster box office numbers. This ultimately delays Black Widow a full year by comparison to the original release date.

Marvel’s Black Widow was originally scheduled to hit theaters May 1, 2020 before COVID-19 caused the closure of theaters. See the final trailer as released by Marvel below:
