Meet the Easter Bunny at Walt Disney World and More

Easter is a popular and fun time at Walt Disney World.  The parks are decorated for Spring and there are lots of great activities happening to celebrate the holiday.  We previously reported information about Easter services and the egg hunt at Epcot, but we are excited to announce even more Easter fun happening on property.  Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny have now made their appearance for the season at Magic Kingdom. They will be appearing for meet and greets with guests at Magic Kingdom’s Town Square Courtyard.  They will be at the location daily from 9AM to 6PM through April 16th.  You will definitely want to head over and meet them while you can.

If you will be in the Disney Springs area, then you have to go and check out the custom Easter baskets that you can make.  If you head over to the Marketplace Co-Op over Easter weekend (from Friday April 14 through Sunday April 16) you can build your own Easter basket.  You can shop for all kinds of things all over Disney Springs and then bring them to the basket location at Marketplace Co-Op where they can be added to a basket to create the a Disney Easter basket full of goodies.  The prices for the baskets and trimmings start at $9.99 and go up from there.  You can also have them delivered for free to any Walt Disney World resort.

These are all just more great reasons why Easter is a great time to be at Walt Disney World.  Who out there will be spending Easter at Walt Disney World?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
