Mickey Celebrates First Anniversary of New Barn at Tri-Circle-D Ranch

We previously shared the news that a new barn was established at Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Well, it’s hard to believe it has already been a full year since the new addition. Of course, Mickey Mouse wanted to visit the sweet horses and celebrate the one-year Anniversary!

As shared by Walt Disney World Cast and Community via Facebook: “This week marked the first anniversary of the new barn at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, and Mickey Mouse himself stopped by to celebrate the team…and of course, visit the horses! Congratulations to the entire team at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and especially to the Ranch Hands that do so much to take care of the horses that call the ranch home. Thanks so much to our friends at Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment for sharing these fun photos! We can’t wait to stop by and see the team during our next visit.”

Did you know… Tri-Circle-D Ranch has a long history of housing “The Happiest Horses on Earth,” as it was part of Walt’s vision to bring horses to Magic Kingdom much like he did in Disneyland. Tri-Circle-D Ranch was established before opening day of Walt Disney World, making Walt’s wish come true.
