For all of you out there like me who are anxiously awaiting the fall season at Walt Disney world, you are going to be excited about what is in store for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This event is a limited ticketed event after regular park hours at Magic Kingdom Park within Walt Disney World. The event sells out on many nights and offers guests a ton of great Halloween-inspired fun. Guests are even encouraged to wear costumes (as long as they adhere to Disney guidelines). This year’s party will take place on select nights from August 17th through October 31st, 2018. This year, the event is expected to add a few new twists and treats to your evening.

Here is a look at what you can expect for this year:
- The Mad Tea Party will have an updated lighting effect to create an even more colorful ride. You may even have your own color transformation depending on the color of your costume, too.
- Pirates of the Caribbean will have new pirates that interact with guests and will be on the search for “Gunpowder Pete.”
- Space Mountain will get to enjoy a new soundtrack and special effects to even further enhance the attraction.
- Storybook Circus will have the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam, which will be a fun dance party that features Disney Junior characters.
Many of your favorites for the event will also be returning. There will be appearances by many of your favorite characters, including the Headless Horseman. The parade and fireworks show will also take place. The “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” castle show will also return to the Cinderella Castle stage. For you candy lovers out there, you can also still expect a lot of great trick-or-treating action around the park, too.
Which of the new experiences are you most excited for during this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?
