Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, located within Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, is an amazing place to visit! Disney has brought a variety of VIP guests in to experience the land and some of guests who were among the first to experience the new, immersive land were five members of America’s armed forces and their families. Between all of the families the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard were represented. These special guests were surprised on August 27th, 2019, a couple days ahead of the official opening, with a preview.

According to Disney Parks Blog, “hosted personally by Disney Parks, Experience and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek, the five families had the opportunity to crew the most famous of all Star Wars starships while enjoying Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, assemble droids and lightsabers, shop the marketplace and wash the experience down with a cold blue milk.
