We previously announced the launch of the new Minnie Van service at Walt Disney World. This service allows guests to request transportation via a mobile app to get picked up at a set location and dropped off at any location that they choose. When the service first launched, it was only available at Disney’s Yacht Club, Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. We are excited to learn that the service is now expanding to additional resorts.

The new resort options that will be added to the service are:
- Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Wilderness Lodge
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge
The service is comparable to other Uber or Lyft services that you might find in major cities. Guests utilize the service via the Lyft mobile app. The service costs exactly $20 for direct one-way transportation to any desired location found on Walt Disney World property.
We announced yesterday that Walt Disney World is discontinuing the Express Transportation service where guests can pay for direct bus transport between parks, so it is likely that the cancellation is related to the expansion of the Minnie Van service. We expect that this service will roll out to many of the other resorts around Walt Disney World very soon.
What do you all think of the Minnie Van service? Who has tried it so far and what was your experience like?
