Miss Adventure Falls Scheduled to Open at Walt Disney World on March 12th

Walt Disney World announced last summer that Miss Adventure Falls, a family water raft ride, would be opening at Typhoon Lagoon in 2017.  That date is finally getting closer as construction and testing is about to be complete.  Disney has officially announced the official opening date to guests as March 12th.  It is a 4-seat water raft that the whole family will be able to enjoy.  Typhoon Lagoon closed to guests for full park maintenance and guests are anxiously awaiting the park to re-open for the season.

Previously, Shark Reef was the attraction that was previously in the same location where Miss Adventure Falls was built.  Shark Reef was a real snorkel area where guests could snorkel with sharks, stingrays and other fish.  This attraction saw guests for the last time last year and then permanently closed to relocated the inhabitants of the area and start construction on the new water raft.

We can’t wait to experience this new attraction.  The slides and attractions at Typhoon Lagoon are so much fun and perfectly themed to depict that a hurricane came through the park.  We know that this knew raft ride will be a blast!
