“Moana” Inspired Refurbishment In the Works for Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

This morning we shared the news that Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort which was intended to reopen for resort guests on October 4, has now been pushed back until “Summer 2021”. A Disney-spokesperson has now shared that the refurbishment to take place during the resort closure will be “Moana”-inspired!

As shared by the OrlandoSentinel: “A Disney World spokeswoman on Monday said changes to the rooms will include a move to a Pacific Ocean-inspired color palette as well as details, patterns and textures from Disney’s “Moana,” an animated film that takes place on the Polynesian island of Motunui.”

We’ll be sure to share as we learn more refurbishment details!
