Credit: Disney

It is the day before Halloween, and if you want to get into the spirit tonight, you can see both Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus on TV. Kean Almryde shared with Disney Parks Blog some drinks and treats that will go perfect with it:

Twas the night before Halloween and Freeform is delivering a delightful double-feature of the season’s favorite films. Tonight, Oct. 30, starting at 7:10 PT/6:10 CT you can start your evening with “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” and then immediately following it at 8:50 PT/7:50 CT you can watch “Hocus Pocus.” To go along with this frightful finale to Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween, we’ve conjured two Disney Parks recipes for a dessert and adult beverage that’ll pair perfectly with the evening’s entertainment.

“Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas”Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake Roll from Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs

“That’s Right. I am the Pumpkin King!” – Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake Roll

Is there an emptiness in your bones that calls out for something unknown? Might we suggest conjuring up this recipe from the Disney Parks kitchens for a Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake Roll. Courtesy of Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, this dessert is perfectly suited for fans of the Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington. The combination of Pecan Chiffon cake, pumpkin cheesecake filling, and dulce nutmeg chocolate mousse is sure to dazzle the tastebuds and have your friends and family exclaiming, “What’s this? What’s this?!”

“Hocus Pocus”Witch’s Flight from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar located in Disney Springs

“I put a spell on you and now you’re mine! – Witch’s Flight

The Sanderson Sisters inspired these ‘spirited’ libations – a trio of adult beverages that are certain to take flight! This recipe from the kitchens of Disney Parks for the Witch’s Flight comes from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar also located in Disney Springs. Whiskey, white grape juice, lime juice, and sweet and sour with flavors of green apple, orange-tangerine, and blackberry are the only ingredients needed for this potion. No dead man’s toe required!

Sit back, enjoy, and have a ghoulish night in. Happy Halloween!
