Disney Tips Your Guide To A Great Disney Vacation
The Muppets have slowly begun to have more of a presence at Disney Parks over the years, and we love to see it!
In addition to Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we have seen the Muppets pop up in experiences like The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History in the Magic Kingdom and Muppet Mobile Lab in EPCOT. While these shows are not currently running, there are Muppet photo ops at this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and one more Muppet holiday experience that was just announced will soon be coming to Disney Springs.

This holiday season, D23 is presenting a special screening of The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary! The screening will take place at the AMC Disney Springs 24 Theater on December 4, 2022, and both D23 Gold Members and General Members are invited to attend!
Tickets for the exclusive 30th-anniversary screening go on sale Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET, and will run $24.99 for Gold Members and $34.99 for General Members, with a $7 processing fee added to both ticket types.

The screening will come with a special keepsake in the form of a Christmas caroling book and ornament and one medium fountain beverage per ticketholder. The team from D23 will also share a fun behind-the-scenes presentation before the film begins so fans can learn more about one of our favorite holiday movies.
Be sure to wear your favorite ugly Christmas sweater to the event, too, as the screening will feature an Ugly Sweater Showcase. And, after the event, attendees can enjoy an exclusive holiday cookie from Gideon’s Bakehouse, one of the most popular places to stop for something sweet in Disney Springs.

The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992), the Muppets’ version of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, puts a unique twist on that fateful Christmas Eve when Scrooge is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Together with kind, humble Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog) and his family, the Spirits open Scrooge’s eyes—and his heart—to the true meaning of Christmas. Rated G.
