Music From Harmonious Brought to Life

Zach Ridley shared with Disney Parks Blog behind the scenes information about the brand new firework show Harmonious which will debut October 1st, 2021, for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. Music is a large part of these shows, and Harmonious will be no different. You can see the video he shared here. Zach Ridley said:

Harmonious,” the new nighttime spectacular debuting Oct. 1 as part of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration,” is one of the largest shows of its kind ever created by Disney and a key milestone in the transformation of EPCOT. We recently shared a look behind the scenes at the work that went into creating the incredible music for the show, featuring familiar Disney songs reinterpreted by a culturally diverse ensemble of musical artists from around the globe. Today, I’m excited to give you a glimpse of how the music of “Harmonious” is being brought to life in the park.

“Harmonious” is a unique experience that could only happen at EPCOT, a place dedicated to possibility, wonder and global community. I’ve had the opportunity to join my Disney Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering colleagues for several late-night rehearsals as they put the finishing touches on the show, and “Harmonious” delivers a powerfully emotional experience. We can’t wait to share it with all of you, starting in just two weeks!

Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog and me, @thezachriddley on Instagram, for regular updates on “Harmonious” and everything else coming Oct. 1 as we launch the Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary Celebration!
