Boozy Brunch Is Now Possible With the Magic Kingdom’s Newest Cocktails

When the Walt Disney World Resort opened in 1971, the Magic Kingdom was a “dry” park, following a lead set by Disneyland to keep its family-friendly atmosphere. The Disney Park remained this way and continued to avoid serving alcohol of any kind until 2012 when select table service restaurants began offering limited selections of beer and wine to Guests ages 21 and over.

In the years since, these limited menus have expanded to include mimosas and sangrias, and lately even a handful of cocktails, some of which cannot be found anywhere else at Walt Disney World. While alcoholic beverages of any kind remain limited to table service locations (and there are no bars in the Magic Kingdom, so Guests looking to order a drink still need to be seated at a table, likely after securing a reservation), we are continuing to see new drinks join the Park’s cocktail lineup.

The newest cocktails to arrive in the Magic Kingdom can now be ordered at The Crystal Palace. This iconic restaurant at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., is a favorite spot to dine with characters from the Hundred Acre Wood. The Crystal Palace is also a popular breakfast spot, and with the breakfast menu running until 10:45 a.m. daily, it could make for a nice (and now boozy) brunch for your next morning in the Magic Kingdom.

While there are no bars in the Magic Kingdom, there is one other experience that allows Guests to enjoy some delicious 21+ sips in this Disney Park, and that is by attending a fireworks dessert party. These special events come with quite the price tag, but they do feature an extensive lineup of desserts and (unlimited) drinks.
