Ewan McGregor is quoted as saying, “It’s the Obi-Wan Kenobi story, I suppose. It’s not all (about) me, but it certainly will be a lot of me, which is good! We start shooting it in March of next year.”

TotallytheBomb went on to say “Ewan McGregor also said that he had never met Sir Alec Guinness, the actor who portrayed the original in Star Wars. However, to prepare for his take on Obi-Wan, he watched a lot of Guinness’s old movies.”

Like many series and films, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series was delayed due to the Coronavirus. Back in 2019 it was announced that it would have one season including six episodes.

The series will be taking place 8 years after “Revenge of the Sith” and 11 years before “A New Hope”. Obi-Wan Kenobi the series will take place in a time where the Jedi Order has nearly been wiped out.
As popular as The Mandalorian is, we believe this series will be a fan favorite as well. Will you be tuning in?
