We are getting excited to think about all of the holiday fun that is coming up later this year!  The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is one of the events and during that time there will be special entertainment, food and merchandise.  There is new food expected to join the line-up this year.   The Feast of the Three Kings marketplace will feature sofrito-marinated beef with sweet plantains and olives, queso fresco-stuffed arepa topped with shrimp, crushed avocado aji and tomato sauce, as well as arepas topped with melted queso fresco.  There will also be other new food items, including:

  • Hand-carved smoked ham with green beans and sweet potato casserole (American Holiday Table, The American Adventure)
  • Three variations of croissant doughnuts at the Taste Track marketplace

You will also be able to purchase five select holiday cookies and collect a stamp for them in the Festival Passport.  Once they are all collected, you can stop by Holiday Sweets and Treats for a complimentary cookie for completing the series (plus a glass of milk)!

You won’t want to miss some of the amazing merchandise either:

You can check out some of the fun clothing and even a blanket!  The new merchandise will be available inside Mouse Gear and throughout World Showcase.

Guests can also check out Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree Scavenger Hunt.  This is a fun event that the entire family can enjoy to look for Chip & Dale within each pavilion.  Guests will be able to purchase a map and stickers in order to complete the hunt and then return the completed map back at the location for a special surprise.

Of course we will keep you posted on more of the happenings that are planned this holiday season, so keep checking back with us for updates!

Which of these new offerings are you most excited for?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
