We’re just a couple of weeks from Disneyland Resort’s grand reopening on April 30! While we eagerly await the ability to return to the beloved attractions, Disney has announced upon return we’ll be seeing some “home improvements” when visiting the Haunted Mansion.
Apparently, the ghosts that happily haunt the Haunted Mansion have kept busy over the year-long closure at Disneyland, as updates have been provided to the estate. New landscaping surrounds the pet cemetery.
Once inside the attraction, you’ll want to keep a keen eye to notice a few design embellishments along the portrait hallway. One of the Mansion’s original portraits known as “April to December” once again graces the hallway. Once your doom buggy gets closer to the portrait you’ll see the woman age right before your eyes. Creepy! Plus, new drapes, wallpaper and carpet have been installed.
