We recently shared the good news that construction on the Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has resumed. Disney announced the royal makeover in February, and construction began right away. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and with park closures and social distancing, construction came to a halt in March.

Looks like progress is being made! Will the work be complete by the time the Magic Kingdom begins its’ phased reopening on July 11? Disney previously reported the makeover would be complete by the summer of 2020, but with the pandemic, we’re unsure what the construction timeline may be. It does however look like Disney is on task to finish soon!

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the beloved Cinderella Castle!
