Pricing Changes Coming to Walt Disney World’s Minnie Van Service

The Minnie Van service is a ride service that is offered at Walt Disney World through the Lyft mobile app.  The cost for the service was a flat $25 per trip when visiting any location on Walt Disney World property.  Guests could also opt to pay $150 for a trip to Orlando International Airport.  We have heard that there will be changes coming to how the costs are calculated for the service.  Instead of a flat fee, it will be based on distance to the location.  We don’t know how much it will be per mile yet or exactly when the change is expected to take place.

We also learned that the service will also extend to guests who are staying at Bonnet Creek, Flamingo Crossing and Hotel Plaza Boulevard, too!

If you haven’t used the service before, we have the breakdown for how the service works.  You just download and use the Lyft app from your mobile device.  As long as you open the app from anywhere within Walt Disney World then you can select the Minnie Van option.  Here are the steps that you will then have to follow:

• Confirm your current location for where you should be picked up.
• Select your desired destination within Walt Disney World Resort.
• The mobile app will then show you the tracking information and vehicle number for the car that will pick you up.
