Yesterday we shared the good news that construction has resumed on the Cinderella Castle makeover. If you missed it, you can catch up here! While construction resumed a couple of weeks ago on Tron Lightcycle Power Run at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, we have a couple of photos from WDWNT showing the progress.

We previously reported Disney’s most recent update on the new Tron coaster, Tron Lightcylce Power Run, as it prepares for it’s opening in 2021 – in time to celebrate Disney’s 50th Anniversary. The pandemic hit and with park closures and social distancing, construction came to a halt in March. Thankfully, this massive roller coaster construction was among the first to welcome workers back a couple of weeks ago.

As seen in the photos below by WDWNT, construction is moving right along!

Eek! We are so excited to experience this one! Watching the progress has been incredible. The question is, will the ride be ready by the 50th Anniversary, or will the hold up of construction due to COVID-19 cause a hiccup in dates?

Want a sneak peek of what this attraction will look like? Here’s a ride through of the attraction in Shanghai Disneyland. Hold on tight!
