We previously announced that there would be a new Pixar themed kid-oriented experience coming to Walt Disney World. Disney Parks Blog confirmed today that this experience would be known as Pixar Play Zone and will be opening at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Reservations are now open with the first evening starting on April 13th. Pixar Play Zone will be offered each night for kids that are ages 4 through 12 (as long as they are fully potty trained). The kiddos will get to enjoy hanging out with Pixar characters and participating in themed activities, while parents can go and enjoy their own time around Walt Disney World.

Bonnie’s Play Room, will feature a lot of different toys that the kiddos can play with. The Living Room area is where the kids will be able to complete Space Ranger Training and become a Jr. Space Ranger of Star Command. This will ensure that they know how to identify enemies! Woody and Jessie will also show guests more about the Wild West over at Woody’s Roundup. There will also be Radiator Springs Racetrack where the small guests will get to build a race car and then race them on the soapbox derby racetrack for Piston Cup Derby Races. There will also be a dance party with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible!
Guests at the event will also get to play arcade games and feast on a delicious dinner and dessert. Check-in for the event starts at 5 PM each night. Once guests are checked in they will visit the Monsters, Inc. station for washing hands and Boo’s Closet Door where they can keep some of their personal items. The event will officially run from 6 PM through 10:30 PM. Parents will have to check their kiddos in and out of the event. Reservations can be made by calling 407-824-KIDS.
Who would love a night out at Walt Disney World while the kiddos get to have a fantastic Pixar themed time?
