Rise of the Resistance Standby Line

Credit: Disney Tips

As promised yesterday, here is a review of how Walt Disney World handles the standby line for Rise of the ResistanceIn the morning, lines were long, and the longest wait time that we saw was 150 minutes, although other sites reported longer. It seems that most Guests headed straight there in the morning, and as the day went on, the line, down a bit. It depended on the time of day, sometimes the outside queue line with the tape on the ground had people in it, and sometimes it didn’t. Throughout the day, the average wait time was usually 60 to 90 minutes. At one point, at the end of the night, it did get down to 45 minutes.

As you can see in these two photos, it’s the same spot but at different times a day. Just use your judgment if you think the wait is worth it. Also, sometimes the line looks longer than it is, so just because it stretches outside doesn’t mean it will be as bad as you think.

For day two of stand by line, the wait time was 115 minutes when the Park opened. We would recommend if you want to ride, don’t head there first thing in the morning, wait until a little later in the afternoon, and your wait will most likely be shorter. Obviously, the wait will still be fairly long because this is such a popular attraction unlike anything else Disney has. If you have never ridden Rise of the Resistance before, you won’t want to miss it. Even if you’re not a Star Wars fan, it is an incredible attraction.
