Rivers of Light Soft Openings Continue at Walt Disney World

We have heard reports that the soft opening showings of Rivers of Light are continuing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World. The show isn’t set to open officially until February 17th, but Disney has scheduled showings last minute as soft open shows.  There was a show last night, and another one scheduled for tonight.  There is no guarantee that the shows will continue, but we expect that there will likely be showings multiple nights leading toward the official openings.

Currently if Disney decides that they will offer a show for that evening, FastPass+ becomes available in My Disney Experience, but they go very quickly.  If you are DVC member or Annual Passholder, you can also check near Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom for signs directing you where to get wrist bands for reserved seating for the show.  You entire party must be present for the wrist bands, and the cast members put them directly on your wrist when you get them.
