Russell Crowe Joins Marvel’s Thor: Love And Thunder

Filming on the upcoming Marvel Studios film “Thor: Love & Thunder” is currently underway in Australia and is set to be released in cinemas on May 6th 2022. This new Marvel film has had little released, but we have new information regarding actors who we might see in the film.

The new Marvel film will be directed by Taika Waititi and will see Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Tessa Thompson return to their roles.  They will be joined by Christian Bale, who will be portraying the villain Gorr the God Butcher.    While little is known about the film’s plot, it will also feature characters from “Guardians of the Galaxy” and, at some point, will involve Natalie Portman’s character Jane Foster becoming Thor, which draws from the popular comic book storyline.

According to Deadline, Russell Crowe is also joining the film.  He has recently been spotted hanging out with the cast.

No details on what role Russel Crowe will be playing have been revealed, but the film is set to have some surprises, such as Matt Damon returning after his cameo in Thor: Ragnarok.

The first three Thor movies are available to watch on Disney+ now.
