Suggestions for What to Watch on Disney+ Day and Beyond

November 12 is Disney+ Day. It’s hard to believe that the streaming service has been a part of our lives for only two years! Disney+ is offering a special introductory rate of $1.99 for the first month, but that price is only good until November 14. After that, it is $7.99 a month, which is still quite a deal. What should you watch to celebrate Disney+ Day? How about after that? Here are a few suggestions from Zach Johnson and D23:

Disney+ Day is fast approaching! On Friday, November 12, The Walt Disney Company will host a global celebration that will come to life across all dimensions of the Company. Subscribers will be treated to new content releases across the streaming service’s iconic brands, along with sneak peeks of what’s to come. It’s a big week for Disney+ titles in general, as the season finale of Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. will begin streaming Wednesday. Disney+ Day will include the premiere of the new Disney+ original movie Home Sweet Home Alone, a reimagining of the popular Home Alone franchise; the beloved family-friendly adventure film Jungle Cruise, available to all subscribers at no additional cost; the streaming premiere of Marvel Studios’ blockbuster film Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings; and the first episodes from season two of The World According to Jeff Goldblum.

As the Chief of Staff announcement nears, Lahela skirts Clara’s authority, requesting a sabbatical. Meanwhile, Benny insists Uncle John (Al Harrington) should be discharged early for the family’s King Kamehameha Day potluck. If Walter offers to skip his tour, can Lahela muster the strength to do what’s right?

About Paula K

I grew up in Western Massachusetts. When I was nine my family went to Disneyland and I was hooked. I grew up, attended New England College in Henniker, NH and eventually moved to Virginia. I worked as a disc jockey, married and became a full time mom when our daughter was born. Fast forward several years. In 2010 we moved to Central Florida and my Disney obsession grew. I now work as a freelance writer and spend my spare time in the parks. Under the name Paula Brown I penned the novels Dream Wanderers and The Coffee Cruiser. I also am a co-author of Dining at Walt Disney World: The Definitive Guide. I'm obsessed with Star Wars, so this is a good time to live in Central Florida. I've been a vegetarian for well over a decade, a choice that my daughter eventually made as well. While my husband still hasn't joined us fully he has given up most meats except for seafood. I was relieved to find that vegetarian dining is not difficult at Walt Disney World.
