“Talking” Mickey Mouse Meet and Greets Rumored to be Removed from Walt Disney World

There are multiple rumors circulating the various groups and blogs that Mickey the Magician (the talking Mickey Mouse), which is located in on Main Street, U.S.A. within Magic Kingdom theme park, will return to featuring a non-speaking Mickey Mouse.  The current rumor is that we could possibly see this change around May 2018.  One of the reasons that we have heard for this is that guests are getting confused about why Mickey Mouse would talk at one location and then be a non-speaking character at the other locations around Walt Disney World.  The other reason that is circulating is that Disney could be looking to make the change in order to save on costs.

The experience is awesome and one of the most magical character encounters that you can have while at Walt Disney World.  None of these changes have been confirmed directly by Disney, so at this time this is strictly considered a rumor.  We recommend that you get over to meet Mickey the Magician while you can, just in case we do see this rumor come true.
