Guests have provided feedback all across social media about concerns that some guests may experience when riding one of the newest attractions at Walt Disney World, Avatar Flight of Passage. This new attraction is set to officially open on May 27th when Pandora- The World of Avatar opens to all guests. There have been numerous concerns expressed during the preview from guests that rode Avatar Flight of Passage that guest who are a little larger in size may have an issue fitting on the attraction. There were guests turned away because the seat for the attraction couldn’t close as needed. Disney has since added test seats at the front of the attraction so that guests can test the seats before they get in the line (which is expected to be very long for a while..). This will hopefully help alleviate any guest frustration or embarrassment.

There will also be signs out front that demonstrate to guests how they can transfer from their wheel chair if needed. This is meant to help guests so that they know they can transfer and still ride, even if the new and different ride seat looks to be a little bit daunting to some guests. The attraction looks to be a lot of fun from what we have seen so far, and it has received great feedback from guests. We can’t wait to see this new land officially open on this busy holiday weekend!
What do you all think of the addition of the test seat?
