As we previously shared, Governor DeSantis extended the mandatory quarantine for visitors entering Florida from the New York Tri-State area, currently through July 7. With Walt Disney World Parks beginning phased reopening on July 11, Disney fans from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are concerned and curious if the quarantine will actually be enforced. Well, yes! The self-quarantine is for real, and airlines are making sure to stress the importance of it.

JetBlue shares the Executive Order issued by the government of Florida for New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to self-quarantine for 14 days after arriving to Florida. It goes on to state “upon arrival, be prepared to complete and submit a health form prior to leaving the airport.”

Select Walt Disney World Resorts reopen on June 22. The parks phased reopening begins on July 11. We know there are several avid Disney fans in the New York Tri-State area that may have been planning their trips down to the sunshine state. Does the 14-day self-quarantine affect your plans?
