The Walt Disney World Resort is home to some of the most delicious eats around. From snack kiosks to signature dining experiences, the Resort offers something for nearly every taste and budget when it comes to Disney’s foodie scene. And many of the best eats do not even require a theme park ticket, as Disney Springs is home to some of the best snacks, entrees, and specialty cocktails at Disney World.

Even with its stellar lineup of table-service restaurants, Disney Springs truly shines in its quick-service dining locations and snack kiosks. (We love The Boathouse and Morimoto Asia, too, but D-Luxe Burger and The Polite Pig are some serious competition!)
Unfortunately, one popular quick-service spot is about to close. Theme park journalist Ashley Carter recently confirmed that Disney is planning to close the Mac & Cheese food truck and replace the snack spot with something new later this year.
Disney is making a change to its food truck lineup at Disney Springs. Mac & Cheese will be discontinued in early June and replaced with something new, according to Disney. Details to be shared later.

As of this writing, the other food trucks, Local Green Orlando, 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa and Hot Diggity Dogs are set to remain open with their current offerings. Disney has not yet announced what will replace Mac & Cheese when it closes at the end of the month.
Mac & Cheese at Disney Springs
If you’re already missing the Mac & Cheese food truck, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with other spots that serve up delicious mac and cheese at Disney Springs:
- Chicken Guy: One of the best values for dining in Disney Springs, Chicken Guy serves “Mac Daddy Mac ‘N’ Cheese” that you can order as a side or smothered in “Super Melty Cheese, chopped crispy or grilled Chicken, Bacon and Green Onions.”
- The Polite Pig: The mac and cheese at the Polite Pig is served with aged cheddar and breadcrumbs, and it’s delicious! Order it as a side to your barbecue meats or as a quick snack.
