It’s heart-wrenching to realized today, September 14th, marks six months since Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California closed due to COVID-19.

The final day for magic at Disneyland was March 13th, as Disney closed their gates to guests that evening for the final time amidst the pandemic. Who would have ever dreamed here we are six months later and still Disneyland’s gate remains closed.
We were thrilled when Disney announced Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park would begin a phased reopening on July 17, 2020. The announcement was made pending state and local government approvals. Unfortunately, Disney did not receive the all clear we all hoped for.

Now, here we are today, still with no state approval. Rumors are flurrying however that Disneyland Resort may reopen in late September. Of course, it’s already mid-September and we have yet to hear anything official from Disney. There has however been photos and details surfacing that Disneyland social distancing signage and more have been spotted.
We truly hope Disneyland can reopen soon for all our west coast Disney fans!
